The Pitch:
There doesn't seem to be one, but their logo reads, "Venite et Gaudete" which translates to "Dumb and Dumber". Huh. That's not a very good motto. Not buying it? Ok, here's how I translate it: "Come and Rejoice". That sounds a little better I suppose...but that doesn't explain the logo. It looks like there is either a pig's head on the body of a cooked turkey, or a pig in some sort of tube. (see the pig)

Contents:
Carbonated water, Sugar, caramel color, Natural and Artificial Flavors.

Spike says:
My wife loves me. She brought me root beer from her trip to her sister's wedding, even though she hates root beer and I've filled a drawer in the fridge with the stuff. This is one of those middle of the road root beers where I struggle to find things to say. Let's see, very dark, not foamy, not too carbonated. Sweet. Makes your lips feel sticky. Makes mine feel sticky at least. (Q: What's brown and sticky? A: A stick. Man, I never get tired of telling that). I detect wintergreen and, well, I would have guessed cane sugar but the label just says sugar, and given the lack of effort they put into the label and cap (which, by the way, I'm not scanning because it's just a bottlecap painted black) I doubt there's cane sugar in it. It's not a bad root beer but not worth the $1.50 my bride paid at the "Made in Oregon" store.. C+.
